Dr. Corinne Odineal graduated from University of California at Berkeley, School of Optometry with honors and has been practicing since 1985. She has had experience as a research optometrist for Cooper Vision, a contact lens company, has worked for an ophthalmologist, and has been in two private practices.

Currently her professional interests lie in family vision care, contact lenses and developmental optometry. Developmental optometry is a specialized field of optometry that is interested in preventative care and vision therapy to cure a wide variety of visual problems (i.e., crossed or turned eyes, amblyopia, poor tracking and focusing, reversal problems and other vision-related learning disorders.) Dr. Odineal also cares for the needs of patients with acquired brain injury. Her neuro-optometric care involves specialized testing, the use of rehabilitative lenses and prisms and visual therapy programs to rehabilitate these patients' visual needs. Dr. Odineal keeps up to date with her continuing education, has a therapeutic license to treat eye disease and takes many courses on developmental and behavioral optometry.

In 1998, Dr. Odineal had LASIK done on her own eyes by Dr. Richard Meister with post-surgical follow-up by Dr. Jeffrey Allgeier. She has a very positive personal experience and testimony to share with her patients interested in laser vision correction.

Dr. Odineal is the proud mother of her son David and her daughter Dana and the happy wife of Bob, her engineer scientist husband. She is active in her church, her children's schools, educating teachers about vision and keeping physically fit by running and weight lifting. She also has a passion for reading.

She is a member of AOA (American Optometric Association), COA (California Optometric Association and the local association (SVOS). She is also a member of OEP (Optometric Extension Program) and a Fellow of COVD (College of Optometrists in Vision Development). She is certified in CRT (Corneal Refractive Therapy), Glaucoma Treatment, Ocular Therapies and Neuro-optometric care.

We have seen a tremendous difference since the day our daughter started therapy to the day she completed it. Her penmanship improved greatly, her reading and comprehension as well. We have noticed a lot of positive changes in her behavior and an increased level of self confidence and creativity. She can see a lot better and feels very good about herself. The weekly sessions were fun and the daily interactive exercises at home were a great child/parent bonding experience. We are beyond grateful to Dr. Odineal and her stuff for the results we accomplished. We are highly recommending In Depth Vision.

Dr. O, Jackie, Elsa, Becky and Jane... you have no idea how much your expertise, encouragement and help is appreciated. I can remember crying at the first appointment feeling like I didn’t know how to help my son. Teachers said he was smart but there was some disconnect between his ability to read/see things and his brain. He was often caught staring out the window. Visually disengaged from the computer or whiteboard. He was extremely nervous to read out loud as a 4th grader. Vision therapy has changed EVERYTHING! He reads books just to read, I never thought I would say this. He now also feels that he can keep up with class. Time will close the gap between where he is now and where he will be. Without this program I would have never known that the problem was bigger than him just needing more practice in reading. He was seeing double at times, eyes working independently, reversing letters and unable to track when reading .... I feel like I have learned soo much in this process too. Dr. O has the amazing ability to locate the problem areas and is able to match the exercises to improve their skills. I watched a few times and she would step an assigned activity back with different prisms or lenses when he struggled too much. Adapting exercises to where he was. If I could offer advice to someone who was considering this program, I would say go get the binocular screening and just see. The staff is very honest and won’t waste your time or money. I am forever grateful for you all! May God continue to bless and keep you ladies!

In Depth Vision really helped with the myriad of issues I walked through the door with, 7 months ago; some stemming from my teen years (I'm 48 now), and others, the result from hitting my head in Feb. '21. As a patient, it's of great importance to do the work every single day in order to accomplish the goals set forth by Dr. Odineal and her staff. It takes dedication and a strong willingness to want to improve, to get better. Months later, I graduated and walked out the door a much different person than the one who walked in. Thank you to Dr. Odineal and her lovely staff for the many months of help, and some good laughs, too! I'll miss them for sure! <3

I just completed vision therapy at In Depth Vision. It has been tremendously helpful in getting my vision back to normal. Dr. Odineal has my trust. She is incredibly experienced and skilled in her field. The visual system is extremely complex and it was very reassuring to have a knowledgeable doctor monitor my progress and help me improve. Considering how important my eyes are for my work and my day-to-day activities, I would have gladly paid 3-5x more for her treatment. Thanks Doctor for giving me my former life back!

Dr. Odineal was able to increase my vision efficiency from 20% to 80%. Before therapy I had limited peripheral vision and rarely used both eyes at the same time. The office has an impressive array of advanced equipment and offers a large selection of tools and exercises that deliver results. The staff is very friendly and professional. I would recommend that anyone take the initial vision assessment, even if they feel they don't have any serious issues.

We are happy with our experience with In Depth Vision Optometry. The assessments were done with a complete review of symptoms, and specialized equipment to help with the diagnosis of the reading problem. Before the assessment, we were wondering if it was a learning/reading disorder issue, or an eye convergence issue , and the assessments answered that. The staff listened and helped us with treatment issues as they came up. They have COVID protocols for safety. I was amazed when my daughter told me she just finished reading an 800 page book.
