About Us
Dr. Danberg offers comprehensive eye care services for children and adults, specializing in rehabilitative Vision Therapy for the treatment of vision problems which affect school and work performance.
We provide contact lenses and thorough eye care for the whole family. We diagnose and treat vision problems associated with lazy eye, crossed eyes, developmental problems (LD, ADD and ADHD, etc.) as well as head injury, trauma and stroke.
Dr. Susan Danberg is an expert eye doctor with decades of experience in providing eye and vision care to people of all ages with special needs. Dr. Danberg was a consultant eye and vision specialist for Special Olympics for 25+ years.

Board Certified in Vision Therapy, Visual Rehabilitation and Developmental Vision Care
Dr. Danberg has over 30 years of experience as a behavioral optometrist. She earned her doctorate of Optometry in 1984 at State University of New York, College of Optometry. Prior to opening her own practice in 1988, she was a Vision Therapy consultant for several practices in Connecticut. She is Board Certified in Visual Therapy and is a Fellow of The College of Optometry in Vision and Development, she is also a member of the Optometric Extension Program and Connecticut Optometric Association.
She served for four years on the board of the American Optometric Association, Sports Vision Section.

Dr. Danberg, FCOVD has been awarded Alumna of the Year from State University of New York, College of Optometry and numerous other awards. She is on the board of American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry. She served as a consultant to the Special Olympics International Opening Eyes Vision program for over 25 years.

Dr. Danberg is married. She and her husband enjoy the ballet and opera and in her spare time she is a competitive ballroom dancer.
